What an amazing season. Break the streak, win 94 games, win the Wild Card, and finally make it to Game 5 of the NLDS.
I don't know about anyone else but I am going to look back at everything positively no matter the disappointment I'm feeling now. My concern is how upset I'll be next year if the next step is not made. It sure feels good to know expectations have finally risen.
Now it is time to start looking forward to next year. Bring on the fake trades and free agents we all want on our team! Of course at least now it is how do we get that guy that wins the Pirates a World Series and not how do we get that guy that makes them a .500 team.
I'm glad I was able to enjoy this season with each and every one of you. Thank you for going along on the ride with me.
