The most interesting time of year is here... ok, I still prefer the games but the general manager meetings could brings some very important news regarding the Pirates 2014 campaign.
So far they have been linked with relatively mild interest in players like Logan Morrison or Adam Lind via trade or James Loney via free agency. As we have learned over the years with Neal Huntington it seems like the "leaked" interest rarely brings a player to Pittsburgh. It is usually someone we had not discussed and had not been rumored so it's hard to say how seriously we should take any rumors.
So let the wheeling and dealing begin! (if we don't leave these meetings with another SP or a new 1st baseman I'm going to start to get nervous)
