We have moved pretty far beyond the deadline to submit arbitration numbers with quite a few Pirates still not inked to a deal. So here's what we know of the 12 arbitration eligible players:
Players that have come to an agreement
Josh Harrison - $2.8M
Jared Hughes - $1.075M
Francisco Cervelli - $987K
Chris Stewart - $1.225M
Antonio Bastardo - $3.1M
Players that have not agreed (or at least it hasn't leaked yet):
Neil Walker (Trib insinuated no deal made)
Travis Snider
Mark Melancon
Vance Worley
Pedro Alvarez
Tony Watson
Sean Rodriguez
Walker should be interesting just because he'll have the highest number. Melancon has had projections that vary quite a bit and of course Pedro is represented by Scott Boras so all seem to have a pretty wide range of possible outcomes.
Kang Signing Official
Also today the Kang deal was made official and he'll wear the number 27. I have seen conflicting reports on his salary as Jon Heyman keeps reporting $11M with a $5.5M option but MLB.com's story says $16M with an option.
UPDATED: Mark Melancon has agreed to a $5.4M deal so down to 6.
