Quick note about Alex Wood: His last outing against the Pirates was Sunday, June 28, 2015. I was in attendance at PNC Park and he pitched against Jeff Locke. Wood went 7 1/3 innings, gave up no runs on five hits and struck out eight. At that time, he was pitching for the Braves. Hopefully tonight is better.


On a side note, I will not be around much until later in the game. I will be with my grandma celebrating her 98th birthday with family. Probably will not be able to post lineups, but I think you will understand. Bring home another winner!
