Everybody's Talkin’ Nilsson This was Nilsson’s first top 40 hit. Peaking at #6 in 1969. He first released it in 1968 and peaked at 113 but after the song was used in Midnight Cowboy the re-release became a hit. Fred Neil wrote the song. From 1968 through 1973 Nilsson had two more top 10 hits and 5 top 40 hits.
