Savoy Brown was formed in England in 1965 as blues rock band. They were more popular in the US than England and toured the US regularly. They were also more an album band than a singles band but they break a song into the hot 100 a few times. Kim Simmonds, founder, guitarist, and songwriter died in 2022 and that ended their touring.
