From 1982 to 1990 Laura Branigan Had 13 hot 100 singles. She also was an actress appearing in a few movies and TV shows. She retired from performing in the 90s She died in 2004 at age 52 of a cerebral aneurysm. The St Louis Blues began to use one her songs as an unofficial victory song in 2019.
