Dave Edmonds is Welsh singer songwriter who started playing with a band at age 10. He was in several groups, then went sole, then formed Rockpile with Nick Lowe. Although he associated with New Wave he prefers 1950s-style rock and roll and rockabilly. Between 1970 and 1990 he placed a number of songs on the charts.
