Rupert Holmes first hit the charts in 1978 and last hit them in 1982. During that 4 year period he put 9 songs on the charts including a number 1. In 1985 he had his first play on Broadway and followed that with several other highly regarded musicals. In 1996, Holmes created the television series Remember WENN. He wrote the theme song and wrote or co-wrote 55 of the 56 episodes of the series. In 2003 his first novel, Where the Truth Lies .was published and it was made into a movie. His most recent novel was released in 2023.
