Phil Harris was a bandleader, entertainer and singer. In 1936, Harris became musical director of The Jell-O Program Starring Jack Benny. Showing a flair for comedy, he soon joined the cast. He married Alice Faye in 1941 and they remained married until his death in 1995 at age 91. From 1946 to 1954 he and Alice had a comedy show on radio. Phil also continued appearing on the Jack Benny show. Phil did voice acting on several animated movies, the last being as Patou in Rock-a-Doodle(1991) He did both comedy and serious songs
