Connie Francis was a the top female vocalist from about 1957 to 1967 when she had over 40 songs that made the chart including 2 number ones and 11 other top 10 songs. She was also in several movies during the 1956 to 1965. Now 86 she was most recently a guest on Cousin Brucie’s radio show in January of this year.
