Oasis formed in 1991 in Manchwster, England. Lead singer Liam Gallagher ( was a co-founder of the band and after a few months he asked his older brother Noel Gallagher to join the band. TH band became very popular in England and Europe. They had a couple of US hits. Over time Liam and Noel became well known for their fights. In March of 2016 Noel posted on the band’s website “ It is with some sadness and great relief...I quit Oasis tonight. People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer. In 2024 the band got back together, released a new album, and announced a tour.
