Brenton Wood, is a singer and songwriter born in Shreveport, Louisiana but he grew up in Los Angeles.   He was on the  Compton High School track team and received several awards for his athletic achievements.  He had 3 hit singles in 1967 and continued record into this century    He announced his farewell tour for 2024
