Gary Moore was an Irish musician who started his
career with Skid Row which had Phil Lynott as lead singer. He left the band to go solo in 1971. Phil Lynott left the band to form Thin
Lizzy In 1974 Lynott asked Moore to
join Thin Lizzy on a tour. After the tour Moore was offered a permanent spot
in the band but elected to stay solo. He returned to Lizzy for an album then
left for good. Moore continued to record
a range of songs including blues, blues
rock, hard rock, heavy metal and jazz fusion.
More died of a heart attack on February 6, 2011 at age 58
