Eric Carmen started his career with The Raspberries, a power
pop band. The group disbanded in
1975 after 4 albums. Carmen was their
lead singer and major songwriter. Carmen
went solo and did more soft rock and power ballads as a solo artist. In
2004 he and the original Raspberries reformed an d had a series of sold
out shows. They also recorded a live
album of their hits. Eric Carmen died on
March 11, 2024
